Richardson
James Earl
Richardson, age 77, of Murfreesboro died Monday at MTMC. He was a native
of Jackson County, Tenn., and the son of the late Eston Lee and Kibbie
Whitaker Richardson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin
Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tony Hutson and Brother Mike Norris
officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Richardson; daughters Marcia Richardson
of Christiana and Sherry (Richard) York of Lascassas; a grandson Jacob
York; brothers John P. Richardson of Murfreesboro and Kenneth Richardson
of Reidsville, Ga.; sisters Lois Walsh of Greenville, S.C. and Ozella
Singleton of Amboy, Ill. He was preceded in death by his son, Shelie
Eston Richardson; a brother, Eugene Richardson; and a sister, Lodus
Richardson Dunnaway.
Mr. Richardson was a Christian and a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked a
number of years as a brick mason and most recently owned Richardson
Construction Co. He was an avid Hunter and Walking Horse Enthusiast.
Pallbearers will be Roger Pitts, Don Carpenter, Jerry Robinson, Bobby
McClain, Steve Walker, Mike Graves, Roger Brown and Ron Webber. Nephews
will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday night
from 4 to 8 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, 615-893-5151.
